Families of Ahwazi Arab prisoners suffering from a tragic situation, call for urgent humanitarian action!

ahwazi_20centre_20for_20human_20rightsRecent Iranian security authorities have intensified frenzied attack on the families of Ahwazi Arab   prisoners, especially those who are waiting for the implementation of death sentences, and exercised against them, types of pressure and intimidation and call them to the security stations in the cities of Ahwaz, to intimidate and to hush them.
According to the recent news lots of families of prisoners were called to security stations known as the "Setade Khabari" of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security in the cities of Ahwaz and asked them not to publish any information about prisoners and not associate with any institution or organization working to defend human rights and this was forced silence on the crimes that occur to their sons in Iranian prisons. The news also convey that some members of these families are of pregnant women and elderly men and women who have difficulty in movement these days, in the intense heat of well known summer of Ahwaz, which often reaches to about plus 55 degrees and pollution in the air, which increases the bitterness of suffering, that caused cases of emergency health for pregnant women, led some of them to miscarriage, and for the elderly to cause many cases of lack of awareness and move to the clinics. These arbitrary and unjust actions against the sons of Ahwazi Arabs continue due to the indifference of basic human rights and away from any humanitarian and Islamic behaviour. It is known that the target of this brutal attack and extensive powers of the security to the families of Ahwazi political prisoners as well as the families of Ahwazi activists located outside Iran, is to prevent the delivery of voice of the Arab people of Ahwaz and the exposure of arbitrary and inhumane and brutal torture and unjust executions received by the Ahwazi Arabs, conducted by elements of the Iranian security authorities in prisons and hidden detention cells.

Therefore we ask all human rights activists and organizations to condemn this act of atrocities immediately
