More facts linked to Ahwaz's air pollution have been uncovered

More than 100 years passed since the discovery of black gold in
Al-Ahwaz, where World Health Organization (WHO) that is affiliated to United Nations Issued a report that ranked Al-Ahwaz for several years (2011-14) as the most polluted city in the world. Concurrent with the release of the report and after a hot and dry summer, Al-Ahwaz has saw widespread rainfall in recent weeks and unlike to the other places that were pleased for the rain precipitation, rainfall in Al-Ahwaz led to heavy air pollution and poisoning large numbers of civilians.
The World Health Organization announced that the toxic polluting substances each year, causes of premature death for a million and 340 thousand persons, While this undoubtedly show the increasing number of deaths toll of Ahwazi Arab people occurred in the last a few years as a result of dust phenomenon, which absolutely has been hiding by the authorities.  The Iranian Minister of Health, Sayed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi and deputy chairman of parliamentary energy committee, Nasser Soudani both described Ahwaz's air pollution and acid rain as serious and complex issues where after each rainfall thousands of Ahwazi Arab citizens faces respiratory complications and poisoned that it makes mass referrals to hospitals.
Reasons that causes for acid rain in Al-Ahwaz
Statistics and data released by some oil company’s contractors have shown that is currently around 1,000 tonnes of toxic polluting substances, including “H 2 S” gas at a concentration of 250,000 PPM and Carbon dioxide gas at a concentration of 750, 000 PPM circulating in the Ahwaz Capital sky, and in the event of a temperature inversion phenomenon that is occurred in autumn or winter, the gases combined with rain, causing acid rain. Breathing the humid air contains large amounts of acidic and dangerous toxic substances, creates severe respiratory problems for the citizens, where with the recent rainfall in Ahwaz, more than 22,000 people with respiratory problems were sent to a hospital. Statistics of shortness of breath referrals in Al-Ahwaz is confidential, and the Iranian authority did not release any medical data of referred patients.
240 million cubic feet of associated petroleum gas was burned per day for many years ago in Al-Ahwaz and, as a result, the total polluting substances that released daily into the Ahwazi’s environment was 7,500 tons.
Bagasse or bagasse canes that make up to 34% of sugar cane weight and sugar cane complexes for production produces one million and 200 thousand tonnes of bagasse and due to the lack of processing industries is burned each year.

The third factor that caused environment’s pollution increasing numbers of vehicles that are using a low-quality car petroleum in Al-Ahwaz in recent years.
The story of low quality petroleum comes in where Ma’asoumeh Ebtekar, Iranian environment minister in conference named as “Effects of Air Pollution,” stated “current internal produced petrol exceed 35 times the permitted level and it’s carcinogenic.”
While Ahwaz region is struggling with various environmental problems like Dust, Air Pollution, Water Diversion and unknown diseases in recent years, the disgusting stench of alcohol increased to those problems.

Razi lcohol factory in Ahwaz capital producing 30 to 32 million liters of alcohol, but it produces large amount of harmful vinas materials and since the factory has no filtration system, vinas collection discharged into the pool of company and these pools are the main source of bad odor emission throughout the Ahwaz city and suburbs.

Other factors that cause acid rain in Al-Ahwaz and can be described as follows:

Ramin abnormal reactor fuel,

Burning tires by 92 armored brigade in the Ahwaz-Hamidieh road,

Chinese oil exploration with new machines in south of Al-Ahwaz.
